The Cross River Rail Experience Centre is a community engagement and education hub developed in partnership with Queensland Museum, providing detailed project information, digital engagement experiences, and learning opportunities for visiting members of the public as well as school groups.
School Visits
The Cross River Rail Experience Centre offers free school excursion and incursion opportunities, providing activities for students with interactive digital visualisation technologies, STEM, Visual Arts, Design and Technologies and HASS learning resources, cultural heritage content, and project progress informatio
We also offer a dedicated program for schools on the Gold Coast to support community engagement and knowledge about the three new stations being delivered at Pimpama, Hope Island and Merrimac.
All education programs delivered by the Experience Centre are free. Maximum group booking size for the Experience Centre is 60 students.
COMMUNITY TOURS
We welcome visitors and groups from across the community to find out how Cross River Rail will improve the quality of life, help our economy keep growing, generate thousands of jobs and activate urban development across the whole region.
Our Experience Centre facilitators can work with your group to schedule and plan a free, relevant program of information and activities.
Members of the public can visit the centre for free at any time during our opening hours.

Please note that the first weekend of every month, we will host “Quiet Time activities” in the learning room. Activities can be found on the What’s On page and will have “quiet time” in their name.
